Umbrian Hospitality: You'll Feel at Home!
We are Angelo, Anna Rita (dad and mom), Daniele, and Francesca. Our project, BEI, was born in a place that has always been synonymous with home for our family: the home of our grandparents, Lorenzo and Maddalena. It was where we gathered for celebrations with relatives and friends, spent summers taking walks, listening to cicadas, and enjoying breathtaking sunsets. We would gather around the round dining table in the living room for Sunday lunches, which always featured homemade pasta by Grandma and grilled chicken, cooked slowly and skillfully.
It wasn’t just a place, but also hospitality and warmth! These are the principles upon which we created BEI, and the name seeks to encapsulate all of this. When Daniele was little, whenever someone arrived at his grandparents’ house, he would eagerly grab his grandfather’s bottle of wine and, offering it to the visitor, would candidly ask: "Beii??" (a playful version of "Drink??").
The management of BEI has a distinctly family-driven approach that, in its simplicity, strives to ensure that guests never lack anything and always feel a bit at home.
Lì ci si ritrovava per le feste con parenti e amici, si trascorrevano le estati tra passeggiate, cicale e tramonti mozzafiato. Ci riunivamo intorno alla tavolata rotonda della sala per il pranzo della domenica, rigorosamente composto da pasta fatta in casa dalla nonna e pollo alla brace, cotto lentamente e con maestria.

Sono proprio questi i principi su cui abbiamo voluto creare BEI e il nome cerca di racchiudere tutto questo.
Daniele da piccolo, quando qualcuno arrivava a casa dei nonni, si affrettava a prendere la bottiglia di vino del nonno e, porgendola a chi arrivava, domandava candidamente : “Beii??”
La gestione di BEI ha dunque un’impronta prettamente familiare che, nella sua semplicità, cerca di non far mancare mai nulla ai propri ospiti facendoli sentire sempre un po’ come a casa!
Montecchio and the Path of the Silent Villages
Perched on a hill overlooking the Tiber Valley, the village of Montecchio still retains its medieval character with its small, curious alleys and imposing walls. It is one of the best-preserved villages in the valley and has even been named one of "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN ITALY."
In this area, a circular route was created, stretching 86 km along the northern slopes of the Amerini Mountains. This route, called the "Path of the Silent Villages," traverses unspoiled landscapes and four medieval villages in this southern part of Umbria, with Montecchio serving as both the starting and finishing point.
Our accommodations are partnered with THE PATH OF THE SILENT VILLAGES: hikers or other visitors, all are welcome here! We are also very proud to have achieved Superhost status on Airbnb, a recognition that reflects our consistent attention to guests. We strive to maintain high standards to ensure relaxing and rejuvenating stays.

Our rooms are furnished simply but functionally, and all feature the following amenities for our guests:

The BEI facility can be considered GREEN, thanks to the photovoltaic system that powers it entirely. We love Montecchio, the environment, and the surrounding nature, and we do our small part to preserve it. For those who need it, an electric vehicle charging station is also available.
We aim to cater to different types of guests who might visit us. For families with children, we can provide:
